Codunk ("we", "our", "us") operates the website codunk.com and the studio application at studio.codunk.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

By using Codunk, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: email address, name, and password when you create an account via Supabase Auth (email/password or OAuth providers such as Google and GitHub).
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, credit consumption, projects created, timestamps, and interactions with the studio.
  • Payment information: billing details are processed by our payment provider Paddle. We do not store your credit card number. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record.
  • Content you create: code, project files, and assets generated through the platform, stored on our infrastructure (Supabase Storage).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies for analytics and session management.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process payments and manage your subscription and credits
  • Publish your projects on your custom domain (*.codunk.site or your own domain)
  • Route AI requests to the appropriate models (Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, Flux, Kling, Meshy)
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
  • Analyze usage to improve product experience
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party providers as necessary to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage
  • Paddle — Payment processing (Merchant of Record)
  • Vercel — Hosting and deployment of user-published sites
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI code generation
  • OpenAI (GPT-4o) — AI code generation and vision
  • Google (Gemini) — AI tasks and vision
  • Replicate / fal.ai — Image generation
  • Kling / Runway — Video generation
  • Meshy / Rodin — 3D model generation
  • Dynadot / Namecheap — Domain registration

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary to provide the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and projects for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Published sites will be taken offline immediately upon account deletion.
